Happy New Year

Another year past! A new year for working on goals. I set out in the snow and ice to knock out 12 miles of hills. The trails had some hard packed snow but was mostly hard ice. It was like running on the roads. I had no problem with traction. The mizuno wave's with screws, are awsome on the ice. You just have too deal with the hard impact of the hard ice. I do love the snow! I will be hitting my goal's hard for this new year. This past year was the start of the pain too come, and I wecome it! So make goal's, work hard and make them come true!! So far I will be racing the Mohican 100 in june and the Burning River 100 in july. I will plan for a few more 100's late summer into fall. It will be a lot of hard work, I like to push speed in a 100 mile run.

Thanks for the comment you left on my blog! I can't imagine running in the snow for 12 miles with screws on my shoes. That's just taking it to another level! By the way, on my blog I said I want to be running ultras when I'm 80...I guess I meant that I STILL want to be running them when I'm 80...or 85!!! Happy New Year, Brian!
